Backlight Modules are the critical part of TFT-LCD. TFT-LCD is a non-luminous display, TFT-LCD needs to be visualization through LGP’s uniformly and high luminance light.
Design of Backlight
(1)Constituent Element
Backlight module is composed of LED, reflector, LGP, diffuser, prism sheet, frame, and back plate.
(2)Principle of Luminescence
LED provides incident light into LGP and uses the dot pattern of the LGP to destroy total reflection to make the light be injected from the surface and then install different optical thin films to achieve the desired result.
(3)Various Programs
To satisfy customer requirements, the Epoch R&D team develops various backlight modules such as notch, slim border, curve, circle, or even free form.
