Full screening, which is the trend of the LCD, is to shrink the width of the screen’s outer frame to increase screen’s viewable percentage. It is the next-generation high-level display feature to enlarge the display area to the maximum of the same size. Hence, the LCD backlight module needs to be designed in “Slim Border”.
Slim Border
Border can be divided into D border and non-D border. Epoch’s design team has overcome the limit. We successfully narrow down the non-D border to 0.6mm and also achieve the high-level of the D border to 2mm, and prepare to mass-produce.
